Evil Ed
My favorite comic book character/action character of all time is Wonder Woman. I own a few of her comic books because I love her and the artwork. Just the way she is and what she represents in my eyes really gets to me. I love how brave, strong and fearless she is. She is someone who is loyal and helps save the day. Not to mention she is still a girl and looks good doing it! She seems to have an athletic build to her unlike many models we see today. I know she's just a cartoon, but still it's cool it's not just some tiny twig woman (I'm not against that stuff though). Wonder Woman has many different attributes to her. One of her powers that I think would be really cool to have would be her Lasso of Truth. This Lasso of Truth, in her world, is a golden rope that when is wrapped around someone it makes them tell the truth and obey to what she says. This definitely comes in handy when she is fighting crime. Just the way she is screams confidence and those attributes listed above are something I want to show. In my picture the rope is green to be different and I changed my name to Wonder Whit. I think this would come in handy for fighting crime as well. If I had this superpower, I definitely would have to put it to good use in the responsible way. That's why I'm protecting my house from Evil Ed. The setting is my front porch so it is a place literally close to home. I would want this place to definitely be protected so that's why I picked it. It is very important to me and it's safety is as well. The brainstorming process was kind of hard for me. I had this first idea in mind, but when I started it, it didn't seem to really connect with me. I took a few different pictures in different settings later on when I thought of which of Wonder Woman's superpowers would I love best to try. I knew I wanted to incorporate Wonder Woman somehow, because that in a way represents me (Plus she's my favorite.) The pictures with different scenes were hard to choose from, but this idea I liked the best. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I'm really new to Photoshop, so I had to look up a lot of information on how to create this look. Some things I would change though would to fill in the little triangle by Ed's speech bubble. Another thing I think that would be cool would be to learn more about how to do different kinds of speech bubbles. Also to make the dots more red and blue like a real comic. Other than that I am really impressed with how the finished look is. I wasn't too sure if I could figure it out.
