Cathedral Response

I thought this article was very interesting. In the beginning I wasn't sure what was going on or going to happen. The style of writing the author used was pretty unique. The grammar was different and the way the narrator shared his story almost made me think he was the high school sweet heart. It was cool to have it in his point of view. I feel like a lot of the articles we've talked about have mentioned something to do with religion. That was an interesting discovery. The ended was by far the best part of this article. A quote from it that I liked was one response from the blind man to the narrator. "Then men who begin their live's work on them, they never live to see the completion of their work. In that wise, bub. They're no different than the rest of us, right?" I thought that was a very interesting statement to just dwell and think about. I think the idea of stepping into another person's shoes is definitely shown here. I think I can take that into my everyday life and maybe future artwork. Like how would someone in a certain situation feel or what would they go through? Then try to produce art that way. Something I didn't like about the article was at times the writing style in the grammar department. It made it seem realistic, but it was kinda hard to read at first to be honest.
